Dishoom is a charming restaurant group inspired by Bombay (Mumbai), with locations across the UK. Founded in 2010 by co-founders Shamil and Kavi Thakrar, along with Amar and Adarsh Radia (who both departed the business in 2017). Dish00m was created to evoke the spirit of the Irani cafés that thrived in Mumbai during the 1960s.
The first Dish00m café opened in Covent Garden in 2010. As of November 2022, there are ten restaurants operating throughout the UK, including sites in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Birmingham. In 2020, restaurant launched an online store to complement their restaurants.

The old Irani cafés of Bombay have nearly vanished, but their faded elegance once welcomed everyone—from courting couples to taxi drivers, students, artists, and lawyers.
